      Madeline graduated from Pure Yoga in 2014. Currently, Madeline is one of the main yoga instructors at Momentum Fitness. Madeline teaches at various studios around NYC and always has time for her private clients. Her style of teaching has an emphasis on pushing one's limits, while also accepting what barriers are there.

     Madeline came to yoga after a lifetime of gymnastics and circus training. She was drawn to yoga initially to recover from a knee injury. As time went on she became more inspired by the mindfulness of her practice and the synchronicity between mind, body, and breath. She cultivated a practice, discovered a calling, and later, a vocation.

     Madeline's private classes can be tailored to the client. She has taught people with various injuries and disabilities. She can sequence a rigorous practice or lead you in stretches and restorative postures. Specialties described below:

VINYASA FLOW

     In this Vinyasa Flow class you will synchronize breath with movement. Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a mindful flow. In a Vinyasa class, students awaken their strength, energy, and flexibility in a fun atmosphere.

Yoga for RUNNERS

     Yoga for Runners is designed to focus the benefits of yoga on the needs of runners. This class utilizes specific asanas that are most useful to stretching and strengthening the muscles needed for running. This, partnered with breath and mental clarity, is an excellent way to wind down from a run, or to gear up for a season of training.

BEGINNERS YOGA

     New to yoga? Start here with the basics. This class gently takes you through common yoga poses, with attention on detail. It is never too late to start taking yoga. Begin your practice in a safe, open, and relaxed environment with Madeline. Inquire for group or private lessons. ​

YOGA NIDRA

     Leave the waking state, go beyond the dreaming state, and enter into a dreamless sleep all while remaining awake. The practice of Yoga Nidra has been found to relieve tension and anxiety. It is a conscious meditation done on your back in savasana, corps pose. Come out of the wild world of NYC and enter a quiet and beautiful space in your mind. Leave feeling rejuvenated, rested, and full of inner bliss.
